XC -- Open Aug 2 - 8am-10am

XC -- 10am Cat 2 & 3, 12:30pm Cat 1 & Pros LICENSES:
Pro and Cat 1 (Expert) racers are required to purchase an annual USA Cycling license. Cat 2 (Sport) and Cat 3 (Beginner) racers are required to purchase 1-day licenses. Spor/Beginner riders wishing to participate in any USA Cycling series must purchase an annual license valid thru 12/31/09.
Annual licenses can be purchased online or at registration.

***DH PRIZES***
Plattekill will be paying cash 3 deep -- $20 per racer entry in the Pro class and $10 per racer entry to all Cat1 classes for ALL DH events on the following percentage ratio 55/30/15. Cat2 & Cat3 will receive sponsor-donated prizes as available.
All classes will receive custom 2009 Plattekill Medals...
NEMA is also paying CASH to top three in ALL classes through The NEMA Cash Contingency Program. The plan will pay pros $50/25/15 and Cat 1,2 & 3 $25/15/10 for those that wear a NEMA product and list them as a sponsor on our race entry sheet.

 *FREE BEGINNER DH RACE CLINICS – new racers, all ages
ALL NEW “beginner” clinics will be offered to all “first-time” racers in the sport/beginner category the Saturday of each race weekend. Racers will familiarize themselves with the race course and learn the fundamentals of racing and what to expect in their first race.
Clinics are 12pm-2pm on the Saturdays of race weekends
PLATTEKILL "POINT SERIES":
Racers who compete in at least 4 Plattekill race events in the same discipline will be entered into the "point series". 6 or more racers in a category qualifies as an official "class", less then 6 racers, classes will be combined.
