June 10, 2009   Wisp GES was a different type of race. Two courses, two races, combined time to determine the winner.  Not my favorite type of race, to me Downhill Racing is one run fully pinned and done. I'm suprised GES or USAC sancions this type of competition. The lift was slow and I found myself wishing I was at Plattekill, riding with my dad. 

I have to thank all those that helped me get to this race, without all the help my attendance would not have been possible.

Something happened during my first race and I found myself down 15 seconds to the leaders, going into Sunday's race. With hopes of trying to close the gap in a very short course, I had an off trail experience, resulting is a very disappointing 18th place finish.

Back to Platty next weekend and that's always a good thing!!! Se you there!!!

 Now I have to, "Shut Up And Ride !!!"
