September 16th, 2009  First off the naming of this race was done by Laszlo, so don't pick on me.

I was asked to fill in and build/design/layout this course, I was a little tired of riding after the world champs ,but just wanted to get to Platty and hang out. So it worked out well. I wanted to hit this drop/roadgap of about 40' and some of my favorite sections at Plattekill. So I started out at the shale drop and started to where the drop was. I had to cut a lot of course to get there. Sadly the drop won't be used due to the landing which when cut revealed it would take a dump truck of soil to fill in the rocks. You'll see it where the course takes a sharp right hand turn after some steep terrain. I'll be skiing it this winter and hopefully we can get it opened for next season.
